Our mission: A passion for design, function, quality, and value
Since 1969, FSI has focused on specialty appliances for niche markets in the healthcare, foodservice, hospitality, and residential markets.
HISTORY
Felix Storch, Inc. (FSI) was founded in 1969 to manufacture and distribute specialty major appliances, focusing on sizes and markets overlooked by the large manufacturers. In 1969, FSI trademarked the Summit® brand, still widely used today on a large variety of residential, hospitality, and foodservice appliances. In 2005, FSI trademarked the Accucold® brand to distinguish its growing line of medical, pharmacy, laboratory, and life-science refrigeration. FSI has since trademarked additional brands for specialty equipment, including PureTherm® blanket warmers and BeautiFridge® cosmetics refrigeration. FSI achieved ISO 9001:2008 certification and upgraded it to the current standard, ISO 9001:2015. To support our growing product line in data logging and temperature monitoring, we opened our temperature calibration laboratory, and achieved ISO/IEC 17025:2017 certification.
INSPIRATION FROM OUR SURROUNDINGS

Our roots and 50+ year presence in NYC have inspired FSI to create many cutting edge appliances, based on the diversity of local housing stock, and the trendsetting restaurants, hospitals, and hotels that populate our city.
CREATIVITY FROM OUR STAFF

Our talented, dedicated, and diverse workforce drives the inventiveness of our broad product selection. This creativity enables efficient manufacturing of small batches at competitive costs, while also powering our ability to find specialty solutions from around the world.
FACILITIES & OPERATIONS
Our business model is to support our dealer community by having the broadest line of specialty appliances for our markets, continuous inventory, and the fastest manufacturing, customization and shipping in the industry.

FSI operates from three facilities:
Bronx, NY (HQ & Manufacturing)

100,000 sq. ft manufacturing facility houses newly remodeled offices, as well as our American manufacturing operations. Sales, marketing, engineering, administration, and our 100% in-house call centers are located here.
Wallingford, CT (Fabrication Facility)

The Wallingford facility is the source for the fabricated stainless steel parts used in our manufacturing operations.
Edison, NJ (Warehouse/Distribution Center)

260,000 sq. ft. facility with 22 loading bays serves as our primary warehouse and shipping hub for finished goods and spare parts, and performs some value-added manufacturing. A second, adjacent 40,000 sq. ft. warehouse is used for overflow and seasonal inventory.
